We are an independent charity working within Portsmouth City. We are affiliated to National Mind which provides information and support, and campaigns to improve policy and attitudes.
Al-Anon meetings are held every week. Most meetings last for one and a half hours - variations are shown in the group's notes. You are welcome to attend if you have been - or still are - affected by someone else’s drinking.

There is no charge to attend meetings, and no-one has to speak or declare themselves alcoholic to attend. Anyone who is concerned about their drinking is welcome. We have support groups for people with Dementia over 65, but also younger people with Dementia who are under 65. We also provide support to carers and former carers.
